Hi all,
I did the daftest thing last week.
While enjoying a relaxing Wednesday evening at home I started to become irritable that things were preventing me from fully relaxing. The phone rang, the Mrs was asking me to do things for her, and then to top everything the doorbell rang.
Enough was enough, I can't stand door-to-door salesmen bothering me in my free time. The nearest remote control took a hefty bounce off the sofa, and I let out a brief shout to make it clear that the salesman wasn't welcome. I got to the door, ready to open it and shut it again just as quickly...
... when I found it was fellow trulybizarre.co.uk writer and friend Lucy Partridge, whom the Mrs had invited round before I got home. Fortunately Lucy is a forgiving type of person, and speculated that "Tony's neighbours are shouting, but they sound like Tony!"
